GEORGE NEWS - Express courage, compassion and hope through art and participate in the Wilderness Art Association's (WAA) art challenge, titled "The Pacifist!". Chair Carol Durrant invites the public to enter for R100 per entry, in any size and any medium except digital art.
"This is an anti-war art challenge in a time of fear, uncertainty and tyranny," said Durrant.
"My members become very emotional about the Ukrainian war and need to vent their anguish as news and events unfold. So, I encouraged them to vent in the way they know best."
Submit your work at Cabesa Gallery, Palms Garden Square in Wilderness. The closing date is 27 May.

The first prize is a R1 000 voucher from Upstair's at Rosie's; the second prize a R500 voucher from Pollocks and the third prize a R300 voucher from Girls on the Square.
