GEORGE NEWS - The Touw River Conservancy will host its next 'Conversations in Conservation' event on Saturday 18 October at the Yellowwood Room, Wilderness Hotel, from 09:30 to 14:30.
The event promises a stimulating morning of discussion, insight, and networking for anyone passionate about the environment and sustainable development.
Guest speakers include Mark Brown who will present “Conserving Coastal Urban Birds” , Arne Witt who will speak on “The Magic of Fynbos", Lauren Josias with “Authors of the Anthropocene” , and Vanessa Weyer and Megan Simons who will explore “Reviewing the Development Landscape”.
Members of conservancies can attend for R70, while non-members pay R100. Each entry ticket will be entered into a raffle draw.
The Touw River Conservancy has invited residents and nature lovers to join them for what promises to be an inspiring and informative morning, offering not only expert insights but also an opportunity to connect and share ideas.
