GEORGE NEWS - Two weeks after the brutal murder of Micaylin Whites (22) of Parkdene, police have arrested two suspects.
The first suspect was arrested last night, 1 August, in Thembalethu and the second early this morning.
Sgt Chris Spies, the Southern Cape police spokesperson, said the members of Pacaltsdorp and Thembalethu Police assigned to the murder worked around the clock on the investigation and followed up several leads.
"The investigation led to the arrest of two suspects aged 40 and 43, both from Thembalethu."
Both men are expected to appear in the George Magistrate's Court on Monday 5 August.
Micaylin's body was found at 06:50 on Saturday 20 July by a traffic officer patrolling the N2, near Pacaltsdorp.
She had suffered multiple stab wounds.
