BUSINESS NEWS - For the third consecutive year, CTM George has won the Best Tile Shop award in the ‘Best of George Readers’ Choice Award! This is already a huge achievement and a confirmation of quality service, but we also won the award for the Best Tile and Flooring Company for the second time!
CTM George is one of three brands in the Italtile group, the other two being Italtile and Top T. Italtile was founded by Giovanni Ravazotti, who immigrated to South Africa over 50 years ago.
Finding the choice of tiles in South Africa sadly lacking at the time, he started importing stylish Italian tiles that would beautify South African homes.
Fast forward 54 years and the Italtile group - thanks to his hard work, passion, and vision - is now the biggest in the business - with an integrated supply chain that supplies both our group and our competitors. Today, we still follow his example of working with passion.
The best for our customers
CTM George started in 2009. Through droughts, fires, economic challenges and a pandemic, our customers have supported us these past 16 years. For that we are deeply thankful.

Continually improving our offering
Due to our growth, we relocated to our current, bigger premises opposite Kraaibosch Estate in 2013. The move allowed us to stock a wider range and provide our customers with a beautiful shopping experience and ample parking, and we are grateful to be able to say our existing customers stayed with us. Since then, new customers have joined us and friendships have formed.
To improve our offering even more, we are currently undergoing a major revamp. We trust that our loyal customers will bear with us while it is ongoing, knowing that they will be able to enjoy the benefits of the finished project. We are remaining open throughout the process and invite our customers to come and see how it progresses.
