Whilst VCAM is not an installer, they sell through their network of CCTV system integrators and installers and they do assist the end-user with installation designs as well as recommending and appointing reputable installers to support and maintain their products.
VCAM has been around since 1995 and has outlets in KZN, Gauteng, North West and is currently expanding operations into Western and Eastern Cape, OFS, Mpumalanga and Mozambique.Their focus is on providing quality CCTV products ranging from simple to use home solutions to enterprise level, high definition IP based solutions.
They only sell high resolution cameras, most of them with infrared night vision, even with their home and small retail use cameras, starting at 600TV Lines, whilst maintaining extremely competitive and cost-effective pricing models and offering three year warranties on 90 per cent of their product range.
Their standard digital recording solutions range from four to 32 channel recorders whilst their enterprise level IP solutions can incorporate hundreds of cameras in a single solution with central monitoring of multiple sites.
Mobile solutions
They supply mobile solutions for trucks and buses as well as personal use car black box recorders with built-in GPS.
Their recording solutions can be interfaced with intruder detection systems and can send you an SMS with an image to your cellphone in the event of an alarm, to provide you with instant visual information of events.
An important facet of CCTV is its ability to take the element of surprise away from intruders and place it into your hands, as well as being your eyes and ears when you are away from your business.
With your smart phone you can view your cameras in real time and play back video from your system, enabling you to monitor your home or business, even while you are away.
