BUSINESS NEWS - George Municipality has prepared a draft Comprehensive Integrated Transport Plan (CITP) to guide transport planning, infrastructure investment and service improvements over the next five years.
The Comprehensive Integrated Transport Plan (CITP) provides a strategic framework to guide transport infrastructure and service improvements across George.
Its purpose is to promote accessible, safe, and affordable mobility for all residents while integrating land use and transport planning in alignment with the municipality’s Integrated Development Plan (IDP), thereby supporting sustainable development in the city.
The draft CITP will be available for public review for a 30-day period from 01 October 2025 to 30 October 2025. During this time, interested and affected parties are invited to study the plan and submit their comments.

Interested and Affected Parties (I&APs) must review the draft CITP and submit comments within the 30-day period between 01 October 2025 to 30 October 2025.
