New owners for SPAR and TOPS Wellington Square

GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - SPAR and TOPS Wellington Square was relaunched under the new ownership of Hugo Naudé and Gustav Hofmeister on 1 October. Hofmeister has owned Wilderness KWIKSPAR for the past seven years and is currently also managing SPAR Express Kraaibosch.

We are very excited about Wellington Square and are looking forward to being part of our local community. Customer service, quality products and happy staff are key to running a successful business.

Our parking lot has been relaid with concrete over the past two months. We would like to thank our customers for their patience during the construction period and are happy to now offer them the best parking facility in George. Pushing a shopping trolley is now a smooth experience that ensures access to the store is a pleasure and makes for a much better shopping experience. This is very important to us as we have many elderly customers in our community.

A bigger and better fruit and vegetable section offers a variety of products, many of which are sourced from local suppliers.

The SPAR has excellent food production facilities that enable us to offer a wide variety of fresh products. We take care in sourcing top quality products at the best prices. Supporting local suppliers is very important to us.

SPAR Wellington Square offers a well stocked butchery with high quality products at affordable prices.

Our butchery is very well stocked with high quality products at affordable prices. We are especially proud of our boerewors, hamburger patties and steaks.

The fruit and vegetable department has been expanded to offer a better variety of products, many of which are sourced from local suppliers. Come and experience our freshly baked rolls, confectionery and Sunday lunches.

TOPS offers a wide range of wines, beers and spirits at competitive prices.

Community involvement is very important to SPAR. We donate regularly to various institutions and have recently sponsored the Outeniqua High School T20 cricket tournament. We are involved with many more local institutions and strongly believe in giving back to our community.
