"The last thing I expected to find, in what I thought was a junk shop, was a beautiful Morris Minor standing proudly next to a beautiful old wood burning stove," exclaimed a satisfied shopper.
This shop offers anything from large heavy antique wooden tables to small valuable trinkets or even just a plain plastic water bottle. "When I visit second-hand shops, I come out of them covered in dust from head to toe," said the shopper who added, "But in this clean airy shop I spent hours looking from one item to the next, without getting dirty or feeling rushed and I found some wonderful things!"
Owner of this delightful second-hand and antique store, Benjamin Nel explained that he always had an interest in second-hand goods and started off his successful businesses by selling second-hand stock from various flea markets countrywide. "Eventually I had so much stock that we couldn't move around our home and a friend suggested that I open a store and the rest, as they say, is history."
Although the 1954 Morris Minor proudly displayed in the store is not for sale, Nel says that they not only deal in second-hand furniture and bric-a-brac, but also trade in vintage cars as well. According to him, he will try his best to source anything that a client is looking for, from second-hand building material to a thimble.
"In today's economic climate it is important to spread your net wide so my father and I trade in many different things. We also have a rustic furniture factory where we can make furniture to order," said this successful entrepreneur.
