Birthed from a passion to dress women, House of Superior Clothing was started by owner Mercia van der Walt 25 years ago in Pretoria. The business grew from humble beginnings to one of the most respected and established boutiques in the fashion world, stocking an extensive range of fashion and occasional wear.
House of Superior Clothing provides out-of-the-ordinary daily fashion to women from all walks of life, as well as evening wear for every special occasion. They also specialise in formal gowns for matric farewell and awards evenings.

The company supports South African designers, but also stocks imported fashion, especially when it comes to more formal wear - most of its evening gowns are imported from the fashion capital of the world, New York City in the US. The overseas designers are handpicked.
