Built on passion and vision

The story of CTM is rooted in a passion for beautiful spaces. More than 50 years ago, Giovanni Ravazzotti, founder of the Italtile group (of which CTM is a core brand), arrived in South Africa from Italy. Noticing the limited options available to local homeowners, he made it his mission to transform South African living spaces by bringing stylish Italian craftsmanship to local shores. 

Today, 54 years later, the Italtile group stands as an industry leader across South Africa.

17 years of growing with George

Since launching in George in 2009, CTM has walked a long journey alongside the local community. Through droughts, fires, economic shifts and a global pandemic, the loyalty of George residents has remained steadfast.

In 2013, to accommodate its expanding customer base, CTM George moved to its spacious premises opposite Kraaibosch Estate.

The move allowed CTM to offer a significantly larger product range, ample parking, and an elevated retail environment. The latest store overhaul continues this tradition of evolution, ensuring customers enjoy a world-class shopping experience every time they step through the doors.
