BUSINESS NEWS - First Battery Centre George has been serving the George community since 2001, specialising in all automotive batteries for cars, bikes, trucks and more. We have just been voted the Best Battery Shop in George. 

So, obviously, we have NOT closed. We have not moved either! What we have done is to have a name change.

Why change our name? Well, our franchisor has always been First National Battery, while we as the franchisee were Battery Centre - but the public never associated the two with each other. 

So we aligned the two brands and are now named First Battery Centre. But, the name is the only thing that has changed. We are still the same owners, with the same passion for our customers.

The success of any company is to a great degree determined by its employees, and we are no exception. We would not be where we are today without our employees' effort and passion for the company. Their loyalty has been proven by their long service - Deon has been with us for 15 years, Niklaas 10 years and Le Roy five years. Guys, we thank you !

Of course, we wouldn't be able to give the best service if there were no customers who wanted it. We are grateful for every single customer who not only supported us in the past 24 years, but whose votes have identified us as the best.
