Interwoven in the George community, supporting several charity initiatives, 101 remains truly humbled and appreciative of the wonderful community it is part of. The brothers, with the help of their group executive chef, Dylan Heydra, thrive on passing down knowledge and the development of the next generation - young aspiring chefs and restaurant managers within our community.
"There is nothing more satisfying than nurturing young talent and watching them succeed," is the ethos that runs throughout the group.
101 will be hosting a Jazz & Wine event on 24 October, in conjunction with Empower The People, an NPO, to help raise funds for their continued upliftment programmes in our communities.

As you enter the restaurant, you feel the warmth from the fireplaces, and experience the beautiful decor and comfortable seating that provides different areas to relax and enjoy.
A definite breakfast and lunch buzz is becoming the norm as the restaurant grows into one of George's most popular meeting spots.
They also have a stunning private room used for all different types of corporate events and private celebrations.
When night falls, the gin trolley rolls, and the sound of chatter and laughter fills the restaurant as the open-plan kitchen delivers another show.
New addition
The Wild Route Restaurant Group welcomes its newest addition, Cula, located at the new Outeniqua Lifestyle Centre. Inspired by Ben and Jeremy's love of Oriental cuisine, Cula showcases all the unami flavours from across Asia.
Whether you desire sushi or wok fried noodles, Korean fried chicken or grilled meats, or specialty created cocktails in an extremely stylishly designed restaurant, it is a must-try for everyone living in George and every visitor to the beautiful town.
