GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality has notified members of the public that the collection of green bags has been temporarily suspended due to operational challenges.
The Municipality will communicate further once arrangements have been made to resume the service and to collect the backlog.
Residents are requested to keep their green bags on their properties until further notice and not place additional bags on sidewalks or road reserves.
George Municipality apologised for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience and cooperation.
