GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality is constructing a pumpstation in Thembalethu.
The water supply to Thembalethu could be temporarily interrupted to allow for the tie-in connection at the existing reservoir site on Tuesday 21 April and Wednesday 22 April.
Temporary disruptions
To connect the newly installed infrastructure to the existing water infrastructure, low pressure and temporary water supply interruptions may occur in certain areas.
- Scheduled work period: 07:00 to 19:00 (12 hours)
- Impact: Short-term disruptions are possible, but no major outages are expected.
- Mitigation: Alternate supply lines will be used where feasible.
