GEORGE NEWS - There is a planned water outage for Thembalethu from Monday 13 April until Wednesday 15 April.
George Municipality is constructing a pump station in Thembalethu. The water supply could be temporarily interrupted to allow for the tie-in connection at the existing reservoir.
- Scheduled work period: 08:00 to 18:00 (Monday & Tuesday); 08:00 to 19:00 (Wednesday)
- Short-term water disruptions are possible but no major outages are expected.
- The water tower will be full at the start of the work and alternate supply lines will be used where feasible.
The Project Team is working to minimise inconvenience and ensure continuity of supply wherever possible.
