GEORGE NEWS - There is a planned water outage for Plane Road and surrounding areas, Glenbarrie on Tuesday 11 February from 08:00 to 17:00.

George Municipality is undertaking a replacement of a 160mm diameter water pipe in Plane Road. The construction period will be from 13 January to 31 March.

During the construction period, there may be temporary disruptions to municipal water services in the surrounding areas. 

The municipality will make every effort to notify residents and businesses in advance of any scheduled interruptions via its official social media channels, website, and other communication platforms. 

Additionally, road users and pedestrians in Plane Road and adjacent areas are advised to exercise caution.

In the event of any unforeseen circumstances that delay the planned work, the water outage will be rescheduled to Wednesday, 12 February, Time: 08:00 – 17:00.
