GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality is undertaking water valve replacement in Bokkieskamp and 5 De Laan on 27 and 28 August.
The planned water outage is from 18:00 Wednesday 27 August to 04:00 Thursday 28 August.
In the event of any unforeseen circumstances that delay the planned work, the water outage will be rescheduled Thursday 28 to Friday 29 August from 18:00 to 04:00.
During the construction period, there may be temporary disruptions to municipal water services in the surrounding areas.
Additionally, road users and pedestrians in 5 De Laan / Bokkieskamp and adjacent areas are advised to exercise caution and be mindful of construction activities. Flag personnel will be available to direct when necessary.
