GEORGE NEWS - Residents are advised that the Traffic Department is currently experiencing network and access challenges affecting the National Traffic Information System (NATIS).
Workstations are also experiencing biometric connectivity problems nationally, which may result in unexpected interruptions, delays and slower-than-usual service for applicants.
The department is currently awaiting a national call log or reference number from the relevant authorities and will provide further information once it becomes available.
Residents are urged to plan accordingly and allow additional time when visiting the Traffic Department while the technical issues are being addressed.
The Traffic Department apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their patience and understanding.
