Paartjie help met atletiek
As jy op 'n weeksdag skuins na 17:00 verby die sportveld van Van Kervel-skool ry, sal jy 'n bejaarde egpaar, Jurgens en Mari Zwiegelaar sien wat kinders help met atletiekafrigting. Hulle doen dit gratis en ploeg hulle eie jare lange ervaring en kennis van die sport terug tot voordeel van die gemeenskap. Jurgens en Mari, wat beide 70 jaar oud is, help kinders met baanitems en landloop. Soms offer hulle ook Saterdae op tot voordeel van die kinders. Van die jong atlete wat by die Zwiegelaars oefen het al op nasionale vlak presteer.
