Grade 9 learners of York High spent the morning at George Museum, where they participated in different activities linked to the history of South Africa. Rap artist Hakkiesdraad Hartman entertained the children through song and verse, while another group learned more about the group areas act from the apartheid regime. Everybody had the opportunity to participate in a guided tour, learning about artefacts such as gramophones and antique printing presses.
