The demon barber of Fleet Street is on a roll at the George Arts Theatre
The gruesome tale of the 19th-century London barber’s wicked revenge plot was met with enthusiasm during its four-show run at the George Theatre. Now entering its final week - from Wednesday 5 to Saturday 8 November - the George Society of Arts’ latest production, Sweeney Todd, promises another round of dark humour and haunting music, directed by Candice Koen. Here are some lovely moments captured during rehearsals and last week’s shows.
