Brand in Rosedale
Vier plakkershutte is Dinsdagmiddag in 'n brand in Rosedale, Pacaltsdorp verwoes en nog twee erg beskadig. 'n Kragpaal is ook beskadig. Met die George Herald se aankoms op die toneel het tientalle inwoners magteloos rondgestaan terwyl jong mans bo-op die dakke van huise rondom die brandende hutte die brand met groot emmers water probeer blus het. Brandweermanne van George het die brand grondlangs bestry.
