GEORGE NEWS - The proverbial 'Month of Love' will be celebrated at Attic Atelier with a full itinerary of events to gladden the hearts of art lovers.
Three established Garden Route artists will be participating in the Art Unveiled Exhibition from 4 to 15 February.
Meet these artists at the official opening of the Art Unveiled Exhibition at 18:00 on Thursday 6 February.
This event coincides with the increasingly popular 'First Thursdays of the month' at Attic Atelier when the gallery is open from 18:00 till 21:00. This promises to be a very enjoyable arty-farty evening.
Nicholas Leonard from Sedgefield excels in working in the medium of clay. His remarkable ceramics not only draw inspiration from the traditions and the daily rituals that we witness living and growing up in Africa but also transcend cultural and geographical boundaries, uniting people around shared values and ideas.
Cathy Fourie, well known in the art industry, is a watercolour and mixed media artist from George. She is inspired by nature and loves to paint what she sees whether it be landscape, trees or wildlife.
Zanne Small, a relatively new arrival in the Garden Route, has a home studio on the edge of the Sedgefield lagoon. Not only has her fondness for art kept her painting for many years but has also resulted in a beloved private collection of artworks. A limited selection of these noteworthy artworks will be available on this exhibition.
Those who would prefer an exclusive, by appointment only, private preview of the exhibition on Tuesday or Wednesday, 4 or 5 February, can contact Zanne Small on 082 775 1104.
