GEORGE NEWS - A vibrant musical based on the iconic book by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, will soon be staged at George Arts Theatre.
Memoirs of a Chocolate Factory will be showcased from 26 February to 8 March, with evening shows (19:00) and Saturday matinees (14:00).
It is a vibrant and heartwarming musical that reimagines the beloved characters of the classic chocolate factory story - now grown up and facing a very different world.
Caroline, a spirited writer with a dream, tells the untold tales of Charlie and Wonka.
Together with her quirky companions, she uncovers secrets, faces unlikely villains, and brings a little magic back to a world that's forgotten how sweet life can be.
The production is packed with catchy tunes, bold choreography, and a colourful cast of characters. Tickets cost R120 (members R100) and are available through Computicket.
