GEORGE NEWS - The Grand Ol' Dame Arts Festival kicks off on Friday 24 March at the George Arts Theatre, with a line-up of veteran actors such as Madri Sutherland, Elsabé Daneel and Elzabé Zietsman.
This three-day festival will continue till Sunday 26 March and includes a performance of the South Cape Children's Choir and Petronella Baard, the Elrine Lottino Jazz Trio and a brandy and chocolate tasting with local music.
"On top of the stunning performance art, we have visual artists showcasing their art, speciality food and drink experiences and even a show for the little ones," said arts director Quintin van Biljon.
"This year we have gourmet street foods and local musicians entertaining us from 09:00 to 21:00 the whole weekend. Make space on your calendar for this memorable event."
