GEORGE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - York High School celebrates 50 years of musical memories with its Golden Extravaganza, featuring six spectacular shows from 19 to 28 August at the school. Directed by Principal Francois Moll (musical director) and Linda Johnson (show director from York Dance Department), the performances weave a vibrant tapestry of musicals, dramas, dance, cabarets, and rock concerts from York’s history.
The Golden Extravaganza brings together the most iconic moments from York's past productions over the last 25 years.
"This is more than just a show; it's a heartfelt tribute to the leagacy we've built and the memories we've made," says Moll.
As conductor of the band, Moll's musical team includes Christopher Petrie (piano), Elrine-Louise Lottino (keyboard), Nellie Brandt (flute), Renaldo Hendricks (Bass guitar), Travis Wurdeman (electric guitar) and Eric Vallieres (drums).
