ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Join an evening of soul-stirring music at the Market Community Theatre on Wednesday 9 April in the spirit of Easter for a performance of the cantata, The Old Rugged Cross, by local musicians and vocalists.
The musicians bring the Passion of Christ to life through music and drama.
Soprano Phyllis Goldblatt, tenor Voldi George, and musicians Christopher Petrie (piano), Johan Engelbrecht (violin), Francois le Roux (flute) and Hester Krige (Reebok choir) will be the artists.
The cantata is divided into three sections and deals with the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus. The Old Rugged Cross will leave you moved and inspired.
