GEORGE NEWS - Distruction Boyz was at Club Rush in Pacaltsdorp on Saturday night, 30 June. The duo from Durban, Thobani "Que" Mgobhozi and Zipho "Goldmax" Mthembu, have been called the best Gqom Kwaito artists in the producing industry. These two young men have won multiple awards.
This year, 2018, their best kwaito single Omunye won an award for record of the year, best group duo and best international act.

Their debut album Gqom Is the Future was certified gold by Risa (Recording Industry of South Africa) only eight weeks after its release, making it the first strictly Gqom album to ever achieve this status.
