ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - The Garden Route Mall Ladies’ Club hosted a vibrant Mother’s Month celebration on 15 May at Gapp Café, where 120 women were treated to a morning of brunch, entertainment and generous gifting - headlined by well-known Afrikaans singer Demi Lee Moore.
The event formed part of the mall’s ongoing Ladies’ Club initiative and provided a lovely morning out to honour mothers during the month of May.
Guests enjoyed a delicious brunch following by live entertainment from Moore, whose performance was one of the highlights of the morning.
According to Garden Route Mall marketing manager, Tumi Ngwaze, the event was made possible through strong collaboration with the local business community.
“More than 25 brands and companies partnered with us to make this event a total success,” said Ngwaze.
“Altogether 46 prize giveaways to guests was an absolute treat for the members.”
Each attendee also received a goodie bag filled with gifts sponsored by mall tenants, exhibitors and external brands, contributing to an overall sponsorship value of R250 000.
The ladies had a great morning with excellent entertainment, food, gifts and prizes.
Ngwaze thanked all involved and said partnerships are important. “We would like to thank our tenants, exhibitors and external brands for their generous contributions towards the success of the event,” she said.
The next Ladies' Club gathering will take place in November in an evening format.
