GEORGE NEWS - George is privileged to have the annual National Male Choir Festival on our own turf in September when the George Male Choir will be hosting the ninth instalment of this event at Glenwood House School.
The first successful Male Choir Festival was hosted by the Bloemfontein Male Choir in 2015. This year, seven choirs will be participating.
The line-up is George Male Choir, Bloemfontein Male Choir, Take Note (also from Bloemfontein), Cenestra Male Choir from Gauteng, Remnant Men’s Chorale, and Arbitrio from Gqeberha.
The festival will also be graced with the Travelling Voices Choir from the North Rhine-Westphalia region near Bonn in Germany, making this an international festival not to be missed.
The choirs will perform their own unique repertoires and the evening will be concluded with a mass choir performance.
The festival will take place on 28 September, starting at 18:30.
Seats are limited.
Tickets can booked on tickets.tixsa.co.za or by scanning the QR code. Send enquires by WhatsApp voice note to Paul Hoffman on 082 577 5302.
