SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - The second round of the pre-season Frostbite Series took place at the George Lakes Yacht Club on Sunday in good sailing conditions. All three races could be completed.

Hans Delport, on a Hobie 14, struggled in the lighter wind and was only able to finish ahead of the Lasers in the stronger wind of race three. There was close racing amongst the Lasers, closely pursued by the Sonnet of John Marc and Joy Olivier.

The Sonnet was the winner of this race on handicap.
Overall, for the Frostbite series in the senior fleet, the winner is John Marc Olivier. Paine and Osborne tied on points for 2nd place, but sailing's tie break gave the win to Osborne.
