The seminar started on the Friday with special training for all sandan (3rd degree black belts) and higher. Special attention was given to develop their technique and understanding of the higher level kata (patterns) and their application in self-defense.
The Saturday morning started with a children’s training session where a group of children from the George-area had the privilege to meet this international and high graded instructor.
The next training session focused on adults with yellow belt and higher gradings.
With each training session the belt and difficulty level increased, ending with a special grading for sensei Wouter Pretorius (instructor of the Uniondale dojo) on Satur-day evening where he received his sandan grading (3rd dan black belt) with flying colours.
Sunday was once again spent with the more senior belts (brown and black) and ended with a sayonara party on Sunday evening.
