GEORGE NEWS - The inaugural George Cricket Club businesses' social league concluded on Saturday 3 August at their home field in Rooirivierrif. Both matches were tight affairs and could have gone either way.

The club committee thanked all the participating teams, sponsors, supporters and the George Municipality who helped to make the event possible.

Results of the final round

Tekkie Town (122/5) chased successfully to beat Ricoh Garden Route (119/5). Ricoh Garden Route (92/3) then chased successfully to beat Garden Route Radiology (91/6) with four balls to spare. Legal Leg Spinners ended the tournament as the only undefeated team.
