SCHOOL NEWS - Carpe Diem School is hosting a community car boot sale on Saturday 25 April, offering locals the chance to turn unused items into cash while supporting a good cause.
The event will take place at the school from 09:00 and promises to be a fun family event with bargain finds.
The public are encouraged to book a spot and sell pre-loved goods, crafts, clothing and more.
Stall space is available at an early bird rate of R80, with limited spots on offer, while the standard fee is R100 per space.
Participants are required to bring their own tables and gazebos, and no electricity will be provided.
Visitors can also enjoy food and drinks available on site.
"The initiative not only promotes recycling and entrepreneurship, but also helps raise much-needed funds for the school's programmes supporting learners with special needs," says Angeline Bezuidenhout of Carpe Diem.
Those interested in booking a stall may contact her on 072 938 5550 or [email protected].
Carpe Diem learners are encouraged to participate in extramural activities. Photo supplied
