Mosimanegape Boyz Madiba drowned after his rowing coach allegedly asked the rowing team to swim across a Moorreesburg dam.
Motsiri Madiba says the university has assisted with repatriating the body to Pretoria, but has not been forthcoming with details surrounding the incident.
Madiba has told Eyewitness News the university has not been able to give him any details information about how his son died.
“I was devastated; they said I must not ask interrogating questions, but I wanted to know how my son died.”
