GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - Ava, a two-year-old crossbreed with a gentle nature and a heart full of love, is looking for a second chance at happiness.
After being hit by a car in Rosemore, Ava suffered a severe injury to her front leg. Sadly, the damage was too extensive, and the leg had to be amputated to save her life.
“She’s such a sweet and happy girl and otherwise in excellent condition,” says Marileen Greeff from Borcherds Paws. “We knew she deserved a chance.”
Unfortunately, her owner no longer wants her. “It’s not our place to judge,” says Greeff. “Perhaps he felt he couldn’t keep her safe, or worried that she wouldn’t be accepted with three legs.”
Now, Ava is on the lookout for a loving home where she can be safe and cherished. She may be one leg less, but her spirit is stronger than ever.
If you can offer Ava the love and security she deserves, please reach out to Greeff on 066 174 3239.
