GEORGE NEWS - Thembalethu detectives are investigating a culpable homicide case following the death of a seven-year-old boy on Wednesday 22 April, at about 18:30.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Warrant Officer Chris Spies, the child was playing with friends when he ran into the street near Jonga High School and was struck by a bus.
The boy sustained multiple injuries and was declared dead on the scene by paramedics.
No arrests have been made at this stage, and the investigation is ongoing.
The bus company was approached for comment, but a response is still awaited.
