GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has confirmed that operations at George Airport remain unaffected despite inclement weather impacting parts of the country.
ACSA spokesperson Ofentse Dijoe said there have been no flight cancellations or operational disruptions reported at the airport for today, 6 May.
“ACSA can confirm that there have been no flight cancellations or operational impacts at George Airport as a result of the adverse weather conditions experienced in some regions,” Dijoe said.
He added that the situation continues to be monitored in close coordination with relevant stakeholders.
“Operations are being closely monitored in collaboration with all key stakeholders. Should there be any significant changes to airport operations, these will be communicated promptly,” he said.
