GEORGE NEWS - Thembalethu police are investigating a murder after a 44-year-old man from Gqeberha, Sizwe Ntika, was killed in Thembalethu on Sunday 8 August.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Capt Malcolm Pojie, the deceased was shot multiple times near the well-known Shamza braai spot in Zone 9 at approximately 23:00 that evening.
"It is unknown what exactly happened, or what led to the shooting. Evidence indicates that the victim was shot in the street and collapsed in a nearby yard where police members found him with multiple gunshot wounds to his body," Pojie said.
