GEORGE NEWS - Eulize du Plessis (19) from George is the new Miss Teen Universe South Africa Western Cape. 

She was crowned at a glittering national gala function at the Meropa Hotel and Casino in Polokwane, Limpopo on Sunday 23 March. 

"I am so excited to be representing the Western Cape for my year of reign," she says. 

Also from the Garden Route, Rosie Venter (14) from Mossel Bay was crowned as the new Miss Pre-Teen Universe South Africa. 

Although the section of the competition in which Rosie competed is called pre-teen, it is for girls in their early teens, and the teen section is for girls in their late teens. Rosie did exceptionally well in the pageant. 

She won the titles of overall public choice, overall charity winner, Miss Pre-Teen Universe Western Cape and, of course, Miss Pre-Teen Universe South Africa.
