ROAD CLOSURES

ROADS OPENED
The following roads were opened last night:
- Low water structure at Gouritzmond +/- 10 km from mouth
- Natures Vally Pass trunk road 2/12
- R40 - Fancourt structure
- R62 - Huisriver Pass
- DR 14/88 Klipplaat - North of Heidelberg
- Boggomsbaai/Vleesbaai turn-off from N2
- DR 1577 Kruisrivier - North East of Riversdale
- 15. HP 355 - Road between Karatara and Rheenendal
EVACUATIONS DUE TO FLOOD CONDITIONS
A total of approximately 800 people in the Eden District are displaced at this stage.
In George about 350 people have been evacuated.
59 people (18 women, 22 men, 15 children and 1 baby) have been evacuated from Great Brak River.
171 people who have been evacuated from Klein Brak River are now in the Rheebok Community Hall.
17 people (12 adults, 5 children) have been evacuated from Kwanonqaba, Mossel Bay.
