GEORGE NEWS - The Steri Squad, a volunteer group dedicated to animal welfare, specifically focusing on sterilisation campaigns, is calling on the community to donate old blankets and towels for the upcoming SPCA Spay-a-thon in Golden Valley, Blanco, between 10 and 14 March.
These items will provide much-needed comfort to animals undergoing sterilisation.
They are also looking for animal-loving sponsors to help them reach their goal of sterilising 150 animals in March.
Every contribution counts - even R20 can make a difference.
R450 per animal covers sterilisation, vaccination and deworming, helping reduce stray populations and improve animal welfare.
