GEORGE NEWS - There is a burst pipe on a main pipeline which supplies three of our main reservoirs in the Blanco area.
The burst pipe should only impact a portion of Blanco and the outer rural areas.
Our Civil Engineering team have been deployed to repair the pipe and the estimated completion is by tomorrow afternoon.
This is the worst case scenario and we are applying ourselves to finish the work as soon as possible. George Municipality will keep you posted.
