GEORGE NEWS - One person was shot and killed and three others were shot at in two unrelated incidents in Thembalethu last night, Saturday 4 March.
According to unconfirmed information a woman was shot multiple times during one of the shootings and died on the scene near her business in Tabata Street.
Another person was allegedly seriously injured during the same shooting. His medical condition is unknown at this stage.
A media enquiry was sent to the police this morning and George Herald is awaiting feedback.
Another shooting took place in New Valley, Zone 9, on the same evening.
Thembalethu police are investigating a case of attempted murder after three people were shot at by unknown suspects at a tavern in the area. No arrests have been made in either of the cases.
