Update
GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The situation is calm at the moment, however the protesters who woke as early as 05:00 this morning are demanding land in Zone 1 at Ntaka Street.
They are still at the scene and they are not backing down until their demands are met.
A structure belonging to a church was burned down, tyres have been burned in front of Councillor Langa Langa's house and roads have been blocked with stones.
Public Order police are on the scene, including law enforcement services and fire services.
