GEORGE NEWS FLASH - The George Herald Citizen of the Month for March is awarded to Anthony Noble, a teacher at Denneoord Primary School, for exceptional community involvement.

Noble’s skill is to transform a plain canvas into a work of art in 35 minutes, while mesmerised children listen to a message that radiates encouragement and hope.

While plying his magic, using a 5cm paintbrush and a palette knife, Noble interacts with his audience by explaining how to paint grass and leaves using a paintbrush that most would think is completely inappropriate for the task. This allows him the space to talk about life’s challenges by aptly demonstrating that where there is a will there is a way.
