GEORGE NEWS - Gracehill College has received the Landmark Foundation's Green School Award for 2022 in recognition of its commitment to recycling and minimising waste to landfill. 

Monica Vaccaro of the Landmark Foundation congratulates Gracehill with the achievement and commends the school for the leadership and stewardship role it plays in the community. 

The school committed to minimising waste two years ago and has in this time fully implemented a waste separation system. 

Gracehill is also dedicated to improving the environment and their community through many initiatives and in-house projects.

The Green School Project is run in collaboration with George Municipality, LGE WASTE and has the support of the Garden Route Municipality and George Municipality.

We would like to encourage other schools to recycle. So we thought we need to give environmental things a nice platform.
