Misty Schultz going from strength to strength
Misty Schultz of Misty's Avon & Justine is going from strength to strength. Thanks to her tenacity, her business has shown exceptional annual growth since she started as an Avon consultant in 2012.
Schultz continues taking on new challenges, despite recurring health problems and multiple periods spent in hospital in recent years. In her latest venture she added the Justine cosmetics range, Avon's sister products, at her shop in Courtenay Street last year, pushing total sales to a record R1,25-million. She won Justine's Silver award with sales of R222 000. This year, she is holding on to a top spot with Avon and is already fourth in Justine sales in the country.
Schultz's sales performance has earned her several Avon Gold and Platinum awards. In 2015 she opened the very first Avon shop in South Africa here in George. In 2016, she became Avon's top sales representative with sales of over R1,014-million, the first time ever that one representative passed the R1-million mark. Schultz runs her shop with two wonderfully reliable staff members, Iwandi Hamilton and Jessica Smit.

Tumi a gem in the mall's treasure chest
The future for Tumi Masango (27) certainly looks bright.
Not only is she at the marketing helm of the Garden Route's shopping and retail treasure chest, the Garden Route Mall, but this go-getter is also in the home stretch of completing her Honours degree in PR and marketing through Tshwane University of Technology. Coming from small beginnings in the East Rand, this young executive believes in helping other women to become the best version of themselves. "As women in the 21st century we have the resources to empower and uplift each other, not only during Women's Month, but every day of the year," she says. "Women are the strength and builders of our society. I was brought up by my mother and grandmother, two very strong women without whom I would've never been able to get where I am today. To all women - may it be a beautiful month full of inspiration and positive attitude that will conquer the nation."

Nursing is in her blood
The resident registered nurse at Skinlogic, Sister Jeanne Bosch, is living her childhood dream of a career in nursing.
In the five years that she has been with Skinlogic, her caring nature, enthusiasm and professionalism have caused her to become the glue that keeps the whole business together. She not only assists Dr Herman van Rooyen with medical procedures, minor surgeries, intravenous therapies and medical administration, but also the somatologists in a wide array of treatments they offer. Bosch has more than 20 years' experience in the field of nursing and has a special interest in women's health, feminine rejuvenation and weight loss facilitation. She did her nursing training at the University of the Free State and the Sharley Cribb Nursing College and worked at Mediclinic George, a local surgeon, Vital Air and a general practitioner before the opportunity at Skinlogic presented itself.
"I enjoy every aspect of my work here, especially the medical procedures. We do intravenous infusion for skin rejuvenation, fibromyalgia and sports injuries, as well as Femilifts for vaginal rejuvenation, Silhouette Soft Lifts for non-surgical face lifts and removal of moles, among others. Working with people and being of service to others give me great satisfaction."
