GEORGE NEWS - Go George will extend passenger services with one hour on Election Day, Monday 1 November, to accommodate passengers who need to get to voting stations to cast their vote in the national municipal elections.

If the last trip on a route according to the current schedule is at 19:20, the last one on election day will be at 20:20. 

However, passengers should take note that service will run according to the Saturday schedule, which offers shorter intervals between trips throughout the day for those travelling to voting stations.

All Smart Card kiosks will also stay open until 20:30 for the convenience of passengers who need to top up their cards.

Passengers are welcome to phone the Go George Call Centre on 0800 044 044 for assistance should they feel uncertain about the schedule on this day. The call centre is usually operational from 05:00 until 20:00, but will also extend service to 20:30 on 1 November to support passengers.
