GEORGE NEWSFLASH - Ten people were injured after a bakkie and a car crashed on the Geelhoutboom gravel road yesterday morning, Sunday 15 April.
ER24, Eden911 paramedics and other emergency services responded to the scene and found the two vehicles in the middle of the road.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that ten had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. "It is believed that a number of the patients had been on the back of the bakkie at the time of the collision," said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.
Paramedics treated the patients and took them to George Hospital for further care.
The local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
